Liverpool defender Ragnar Klavan has revealed that he never sees teammate Mohamed Salah in training, but not because the Egyptian is skipping sessions…

In contrast, the Estonian explained that Salah is just too rapid with the 25-year-old’s blistering pace causing not only his opponents problems, but also those who don the same colours.

“Mo is a great player, I don’t actually see him in training because he’s so fast,” Klavan joked.

“He’s been really good since he came and especially now he’s scoring important goals. He’s a really important player for us.”

Nigerian international Victor Moses has resumed training with his Chelsea teammates.

The defender-cum-midfielder spent the last five weeks undergoing rehabilitation due to the hamstring problem he suffered against Crystal Palace.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte revealed that Moses has progressed well following the team’s 4-0 win over West Bromwich Albion in an English Premier League game on Saturday.

Today the starting 11 was the same as against United,” Conte told Chelsea’s official website.

“We played well in that game and we did again today but don’t forget we have to play a lot of games in a few days, so I need all of my players.

”Victor Moses is progressing well and I hope to have him back from tomorrow, for the game after Qarabag,” he added.

“It’s important to have all the senior players in good form without injuries.”

Moses, 25, has made six league appearances for the Blues this season.

News coming out of England is that Kenya and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Victor Wanyama has resumed training after being sidelined due to injury.

The Harambee Stars captain’s injury was a cause for concern after sustaining a recurring knee injury. It was feared it could keep him out of competitive action for the rest of the season.

The English Premier League club has since confirmed Wanyama’s return to training on its official Twitter account.

Team news, Victor Wanyama (knee) is starting fieldwork training this week as he continues his recovery,” tweeted the club.

The north London side has, however, remained coy on how long the 26-year-old will be out of action, a move that has opened up speculation in media circles.

Meanwhile, the Lily Whites boss manager Mauricio Pochettino had also shared his concerns over the prospect of the player’s prolonged absence.

“We are concerned about his situation. We must wait for when he sees a specialist and then we’ll see what happens. But of course after sometime without him involved in the training sessions and with the team, we are concerned,” the Argentine manager said on October 20.

The session was abandoned due to a remarkable number of supporters who crammed in to watch the Egyptian club.

KingFut website reports that a decision was made after thousands of fans entered El Tetsh Stadium which saw the supporters fill the stands and flood the field itself.

Consequently, it was deemed not safe for the players.

The Egyptian giants drew the first leg 1-1 in Alexandria last Saturday after Mo’men Zakaria scored the first goal in the second minute.
