Oupa Manyisa dumps Orlando Pirates for Mamelodi Sundowns – ABSA Premiership 2017/18 – Orlando Pirates

Orlando Pirates chairman ,Irvin Khoza, has announced that midfielder Oupa Manyisa will be joining Mamelodi Sundowns.

The 29-year-old, who made his debut for the club nine years ago, will leave the Buccaneers in favour of the CAF Champions League holders – following a successful spell with the Soweto giants that conjured seven trophies.

The Bafana Bafana international will become the Brazilians second signing of the current transfer, following the arrival of goalkeeper Razak Brimah .


Sundowns have yet to announce the singing, but are expected to do so later today with Khoza having jumped the gun on the Brazilians, in typical ‘Iron Duke’ fashion.

Khoza has also confirmed former Uganda boss Milutin Sredojević as the new head coach of the Sea Robbers. ‘Micho ‘returns for a second spell at the club.
