Gabon international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is on Italian Serie A giants AC Milan’s wish-list during the Transfer Window.

The prolific centre forward had a brilliant 2016/17 season in the colours of German outfit Borussia Dortmund and he scooped the Bundesliga Golden Boot.

Milan’s chief executive officer Marco Fassone has since revealed that they are targeting Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata, Torino frontman Andre Belotti as well as Aubameyang.

“Many names have been mentioned of very strong strikers. We would like to have one from Belotti, Morata or Aubameyang,” Fassone told Milan TV.

“We will see who our choice falls to, although there are also other names who are yet to be splashed on the front pages by the media.

“Clearly we are still thinking of doing something else in that position. We are keeping all the options open and we will definitely do something beautiful,” he added.

“Fortunately we are in China now so we can hold discussions with the owners to understand what our resources are, because they are not unlimited.

“We must also reason with the coach, because the next two friendlies can give some technical indications to him and [director of sport] Massimiliano Mirabelli.”

Aubameyang is a former Milan academy player having spent the 2007/08 campaign with the club’s first team. He left the club for French side Saint-Etienne on a permanent deal in December, 2011.

The 28-year-old marksman, who is also the Gabon captain, remarkably hit the back of the net 31 times in 31 league starts for Dortmund last season

He has also been linked with French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and reigning English Premier League (EPL) champions Chelsea FC.

AC Milan have completed the signing of Ivory Coast midfielder Franck Kessie on an initial two-year loan deal.

The Elephants player is the Rossoneri’s second transfer ahead of the 2017/18 season (following the signing of Argentinian defender Mateo Musacchio) and the club has an ‘obligation’ to buy him outright at the end of the loan spell.

“AC Milan announces the signing of Franck Kessie from Atalanta Bergamasca Calcio, through to 2019,” the Italian giants said in an official statement.

“The contract implies the player will join the club on a two year loan period with obligation to buy.”

Milan’s mandatory option to buy Kessie is reportedly fixed at €28-million.

The 20-year-old player has established himself as one of Serie A’s most promising midfielders and has often been described as the ‘New Yaya Toure’.

Senegal attacker Keita Balde and Lazio teammate Lucas Biglia could both be on their way to AC Milan as part of a major double deal in Italy.

Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Milan directors Marco Fassone and Massimiliano Mirabelli were in Rome on Monday, trying to negotiate a deal to land both Lazio players.

Lazio president Claudio Lotito and Biglia’s agent reportedly attended the meeting.

Milan are said to have offered 40-million Euros for the pair, but Lotito is hoping for an extra 10-15-million.

Both Balde and Biglia are entering the final year of their contract with Lazio.

Balde has been the top African scorer in Serie A in the 2016/17 season, scoring 16 goals in 31 appearances.

Signing Ivory Coast midfielder Franck Kessie from Atalanta has become a priority for Italian giants AC Milan.
