Leicester City’s Algerian star Riyad Mahrez is set to be a transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.

The Times reports that the North London duo are both keen on adding the 2015/16 PFA Player of the Year to their squads for next season.

Mahrez is under contract at Leicester until 2020, having signed a new deal with the club in August last year.

However, it is believed that the player signed the contract with the understanding that he would be allowed to leave if a big club made a serious offer for his services.

The 26-year-old reportedly wants to continue playing Champions League football, having helped the Foxes reach the quarterfinals of this season’s competition.
