Real Betis are close to securing the signing of Algerian midfielder Ryad Boudebouz from Montpellier HSC.
France Football reports that Boudebouz arrived in Betis, Spain, on Monday and will undergo a medical before completing a transfer later today.
The 27-year-old Fennec Foxes player was a key figure for Montpellier last season, making 33 Ligue 1 appearances and scoring 11 goals to help them finish above the relegation zone.
Boudebouz is expected to cost Real Betis €8-million and will join a squad which already boasts North African talent in the shape of compatriot Aissa Mandi and Moroccan Zouhair Feddal.
The French-born Algerian midfielder has also represented Colmar, Sochaux and Bastia in his club career.
