With 12 minutes remaining however, Los Nervionenses did level the scores. Pablo Sarabia climbed off the bench to send out a cross into the box with Ben Yedder finding in ahead of Pacheco to flick the ball into the back again of the net.

Pacheco was forced into a further save by Silva when his looping header virtually outfoxed the keeper, forcing him to tip the ball over the bar.

The last opportunity of the game went the way of Alaves who have been inches absent from profitable it with Darko Brasanac’s header coming back again off the inside of of the post into the grateful arms of Vaclik.

Sevilla are now a point behind Barcelona at the leading with Alaves climbing back again earlier mentioned Real Madrid into fourth palce.
