Gap in between City and United is shrinking, says Fellaini

Marouane Fellaini feels the Premier League is obtaining much better every single year and that Manchester United are trying to keep rate with rivals Manchester City.

The Red Devils finished the previous season in second place behind league winners City, but by an enormous 19 points.

This season Jose Mourinho’s charges are currently in eighth place on twenty points right after twelve games, some twelve points behind leaders City.

Metropolis also defeated United 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium in advance of the global crack but Fellaini advised Sky Sports that he feels the gap in between the sides is lesser than it originally appears.

He reported: “I don’t forget when I arrived in England it was a top-rated four, now it is a top rated six, so each year it is much more tricky.

“Next season we will see how it improvements and in two and a few years I think each year it is much more tricky, the depth is bigger, so that is why the Premier League is desirable.

Manchester City is robust, but I think they will lose. Ok, they are pretty great, and they have great players but it really is doable to defeat them. We lost, but we have the second game at Old Trafford and we will see.”

He added: “They are pretty self-assured, all of them, they play great football, they play attacking football and they have a great dynamic.”
