Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade have hailed Ghanaian Richmond Boakye after he became the club’s highest scoring foreign player of all time.
The 24-year-old netted in a SuperLiga match against Spartak Subotica in midweek to rack up his 29th goal in Red Star colours.
The Ghanaian’s goal tally has arrived in just 40 matches since joining the team in January 2017.
And the Belgrade club have praised Boakye’s impact at the club, putting the following post up on their official Twitter account:
”Congratulations, you became a part of our history! @Boakye_Yiadom9…..29 goals for #fkcz.”
